Beautiful lakeside views.

During our stay, we were completely misled about the events happening at the hotel. We booked expecting a peaceful getaway, only to find out that there was a wedding taking place, which closed off the bar and other areas. The staff's response to our concerns was utterly dismissive and unhelpful, leaving us feeling stranded in a chaotic atmosphere instead of enjoying a relaxing experience as promised.

Consider improving soundproofing in rooms!!! Events frequently disrupt the peace, while limited on-site amenities like no bar or restaurant hinder the experience!!! More proactive communication regarding events would be beneficial!!!

Not exactly what I expected

The terraced gardens are stunning, and the breakfast room’s historical murals added charm. The staff’s thoughtful gesture of packing breakfast for me was truly appreciated.

Be aware, though, the frequent weddings led to limited access to gardens and late-night noise disturbances. Such interruptions can detract from the overall experience.

The gardens surrounding the hotel created a magical atmosphere during my stay. The helpful staff made the morning breakfast feel personalized and enjoyable. I loved waking up to a stunning lake view from my Double Room each morning.

The path to the hotel from the ferry is incredibly steep, making it difficult to navigate with luggage.

Noise from numerous weddings disrupted evenings, making it difficult to enjoy the intended atmosphere in the garden. Additionally, during busy events, access to the gardens was often limited, reducing the opportunity to experience their beauty. The air conditioning in the room struggled to keep up, leading to uncomfortable temperatures at times, especially given the heat during our stay.

We loved our recent stay, especially the cozy Junior Suite with a balcony overlooking the lake and the delicious croissants at breakfast. The gardens were a wonderfully relaxing spot, and we enjoyed lounging by the peaceful garden area. Just a heads up, the AC unit was a bit noisy but didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

Unfortunately, the hotel's popularity for weddings meant some areas were often off-limits, disrupting our serene experience. The staff was friendly, but they seemed stretched during busy events, leading to occasional delays in service.

Staying here with our teenage kids was a lovely experience! We enjoyed the stunning lake views from the beautiful botanical gardens, perfect for family photos. The narrow paths down to the lakefront are great for relaxing and soaking in the scenery.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

I was utterly captivated by the outstanding views of the shimmering lake from my Junior Suite. The botanical gardens were a serene haven to explore, with lush foliage and vibrant flowers. Breakfast on the terrace, featuring fresh pastries and Prosecco mimosas, was the perfect start to each day!

The gardens are stunning, but the room was a bit outdated and noisy.

I appreciated the lovely rooms and the beautiful gardens during my stay. I had a pleasant experience walking through the botanical gardens each day. The view of the lake from my room made the mornings enjoyable.

Unfortunately, there were multiple weddings during my three-night stay, which made parts of the hotel off-limits. The noise from the events startled my peaceful experience, especially when music continued late into the night.
